Tony J. Comparin, a Founding Partner and Shareholder with Alliance Tax Advisors, has over twenty-five years experience in the real estate industry. With an emphasis on property tax consulting and appraisal valuation, Mr. Comparin possesses an extensive knowledge of multi-state property tax laws and appeal procedures. His expertise enables him to save his clients money and increase the value of their properties by minimizing their property-tax burden.

Education and Credentials

Mr. Comparin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Registered Senior Property Tax Consultant, Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, and Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Affiliations

Mr. Comparin currently serves on the Board of Directors, and is a past president, of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP). He has formerly served on the Board of Directors for both the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) and the National Apartment Association (NAA). Mr. Comparin is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and is active in the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC).
