Mr. Rogers has over seventeen years of experience in the real estate appraisal and property taxation fields. His career includes five years as a commercial real estate appraiser, eight years in Public Accounting working in their National Property Tax Group, and seven years in Corporate Property Tax Management serving as Vice President – Property Tax Administration. His most recent role as Vice President – Property Tax Administration provided him in-depth experience managing all property tax functions for a national multi-family real estate investment trust that had over 80,000 units in 24 states and 47 markets with a property tax liability of over $70 million. This expertise along with his previous experience in national commercial real estate appraisal and property tax consulting allows him to provide exceptional value to his clients.
Education and Credentials
Mr. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University. He is a Registered General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas and Colorado. Over the years Mr. Rogers has taken numerous appraisal classes from the Appraisal Institute including Appraisal Principles, Basic Income Capitalization, Analyzing Operating Expenses, Separating Real & Personal Property from Intangible Business Assets, Valuation of Detrimental Conditions in Real Estate, Forecasting Revenue, Feasibility, Market Value, Investment Timing: Option Value, and USPAP.
