Over 25 years of ad valorem tax experience. Gained a deep knowledge of property tax laws and processes while serving as a Deputy Chief Appraiser in North Texas. Awarded national assignments for some of the nation’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts, pension funds and private equity owners.  Experience includes core, value add and opportunistic assets.

Education & Credentials

Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in finance from Texas Tech University. Successfully completed numerous courses with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Institute, and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He is a Registered Senior Property Tax Consultant licensed both in Texas and Arizona and a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI), a mark of distinction that represents the highest level of professional achievement in business property taxation.
