Curtis Yates, Vice President with Alliance Tax Advisors, LLC, has over twenty years experience in the commercial real estate industry including property tax, valuation, consulting, leasing and brokerage. Mr. Yates has worked with an array of commercial property types for local and national clients. He possesses extensive knowledge of valuation theory and techniques, and experience with, possessory, interest, and functional and economic obsolescence. Mr. Yates specializes in property tax appeal and consulting services for corporate and investment grade real estate.

Education and Credentials

Mr. Yates earned a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from The University of Texas at Arlington. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from Southwest Texas State University. Mr. Yates is a certified Member of the Appraisal Institute, a licensed Property Tax Consultant, a commercial Real Estate Broker, and a certified Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. He has qualified as an expert in State and Federal Court regarding real estate matters.

Affiliations

Mr. Yates is President of the Central Texas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors, the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT), Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP), the Appraisal Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
